Welcome to Chain Reaction, by Capital Copilot, your daily dose of the latest in cryptocurrency news, market insights, and blockchain trends. Let's get started! JPMorgan is expanding JPM Coin to Ethereum, Bitcoin is extending its weekend bounce past eighty-two thousand dollars on strong Chinese growth data, and crypto lending vaults just crossed ten billion dollars in deposits as regulators start asking harder questions. Bitcoin trades at eighty-two thousand three hundred fifty-six dollars this morning. Ethereum sits at two thousand four hundred twenty-four dollars and sixty-five cents. According to Bloomberg, JPMorgan is bringing its JPM Coin deposit token to Ethereum, moving beyond Base, the Coinbase-built layer-two network it previously relied on. The bank's Kinexys blockchain division says the move broadens access for crypto companies and institutions needing settlement rails. JPMorgan's private network already processes over seven billion dollars daily, a small slice of its twelve-trillion-dollar payments business, but Ethereum currently holds around fifty billion dollars in locked value across its applications, making it the deeper liquidity pool. Bitcoin's bounce follows China's third-quarter GDP growing four and a half percent, beating expectations, alongside retail sales surging past forecasts. Oil prices eased on both sides of the Atlantic, easing inflation worries that had pushed Bitcoin below eighty-one thousand dollars just days ago. Nasdaq futures gained over one percent, and Asian markets rallied alongside crypto. But the ETF picture remains mixed. Bitcoin funds have now shed roughly nine hundred ten million dollars over two weeks, and Ethereum ETFs just logged a third straight week of outflows, losing XRP its thirteen-week inflow streak in the process. Ecoinometrics points to rising Treasury yields as the culprit, making yield-bearing assets more competitive against Bitcoin and gold. Meanwhile, crypto lending vaults have ballooned past ten billion dollars in deposits, up from four billion at the start of twenty twenty-five, according to the Financial Times. These decentralized finance vaults offer yields between three and ten percent, sometimes higher, but regulators in the U-S and Europe are now scrutinizing exposure to illiquid collateral and automatic liquidations. On the XRP Ledger, a bug-fix package called fixCleanup3_4_0 sits at exactly the minimum votes needed for approval, with zero room for error before Friday's scheduled deployment. And a Bitcoin wallet dormant since 2013, when coins traded near one hundred thirty-one dollars, just moved thirty-four million dollars to a new address, part of a broader wave of ancient wallets stirring this month. Strategy's Michael Saylor told ParaFi Investor Day that Bitcoin is entering a new bull market driven by banks offering custody and lending, projecting Bitcoin-backed stablecoin yields of six to eight percent down the line. Looking ahead this week, CME Group launches Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures, Tesla and Netflix report earnings, and flash PMI data lands Friday alongside University of Michigan sentiment numbers. Remember when you thought you had to understand everything before you started? Yeah, that engine only runs on action. That's a wrap for today's edition of Chain Reaction by Capital Copilot. We hope you're feeling more informed and ready to navigate the cryptoverse. Until next time, keep your digital wallets ready!
